YOUTH EDUCATION THE MUHAMMAD ALI CENTER COUNCIL OF STUDENTS and UCREW Centered on Muhammad Ali’s Six Core Principles, the Muhammad Ali Center Council of Students (MACCS) is a leadership development and service-learning program where students explore strategies for social change, leadership skills and social justice issues. Similarly, UCREW offers a unique opportunity for students to learn about social entrepreneurship. At the completion of the program, students have con- ceptualized, produced, marketed and launched a small social enterprise business. During 2017, the MACCS and UCREW students engaged regularly in service projects and activities. For example, the students, along with our staff and volunteers from UPS, packaged 21,816 meals to help support Love the Hungry, a non-profit organization which provides nutrient-rich meals that alleviate the effects of malnutrition in children.
